The Heights entertains outdoors more than most of Houston. Porches, decks and back gardens get used for most of the year here, and a good number of bookings end up being cooked partly outside — which suits a chef raised on live fire.
Guest counts run smaller and the mood is informal, but the food is not. A six-person dinner on a Heights porch can be the most carefully written menu of the month precisely because there is nowhere for a weak course to hide.
Bungalow kitchens are compact and new-build kitchens are generous, and both turn up on the same street. Chef Fassi asks about the kitchen before quoting rather than after.

Can you cook outside?
Gladly. Grilling and live fire are where Chef Fassi’s Argentinian side shows, and Heights gardens are well suited to it.
Is a six-person dinner too small to book?
Not at all. Smaller counts are common here. The per-person cost is higher at very small numbers, which is simply the arithmetic of sourcing and prep.
Where will you park and set up?
Street parking and a compact setup are planned before the night. Nothing about the arrival should be visible to your guests.
