The neighborhood

Cooking in Piney Point

Piney Point has the largest lots in the Memorial Villages and some of the most private properties in Houston. Entertaining here is usually planned well in advance and executed quietly, which suits the way Chef Fassi prefers to work.

Because the houses are substantial, the practical questions matter: which kitchen is being used, how far the dining room is from it, whether a secondary or catering kitchen is available, and where staff should arrive. All of that is settled before the proposal is signed.

The evenings themselves run from small family dinners to seated events of thirty or more, and the larger ones are planned with a run of show rather than played by ear.

Service Area

Also cooking across Greater Houston

Chef Fassi serves the whole of the Greater Houston area — every neighborhood below, inside the loop and well beyond it, from River Oaks dining rooms to Katy new builds and Galveston beach houses. FAQ

Private chef in Piney Point — questions

Do you visit the property beforehand?

For larger events, yes. A site visit settles the kitchen, the service route and the staging before anything is committed to paper.

Can you use a catering kitchen rather than the main one?

Yes, and it is often the better choice. Either way, it is agreed in advance.

How far ahead should we book?

For a seated event of any size, six to twelve months is comfortable. Annual dinners are often held a year out.

“Having dinner prepared in our home made the entire night feel special. The menu was exactly what we wanted, and the experience felt completely effortless.”
